Out of the country gold, and dividend paying China funds.

Maybe a foreign currency fund.

As they crash our dollar without regard, these two should be big winners.

Leaving money here, and your institution blows, these investments would go up in smoke as they would not be FDIC insured. Only savings accounts and certain money market funds are FDIC insured. And, SIPC is a joke.
