Ah, you're griping about the FIRST Gulf war. So you would've let Saddam take Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and make himself into a world power - a new Nebuchadnezzar empire with nuclear weapons by now. No, I am not griping about the first Gulf war. You said that the left is enabling bin Laden and encouraging him to do his worst. What I am pointing out to you is that this blood feud between the US and bin Laden/Islam didn't start with Iraq. It started with the first Gulf War and even before....with Reagan sending the troops into Beirut. In fact, during the 90s, when Clinton was working so hard to bring about a Palestinian accord, the terrorists left us alone for the most part. The problem isn't the left.
