Using a little hyperbole there, aren't we?

I'm certainly more concerned about the loss of true academic freedom in universities these days than what happened to Meyer, which I frankly don't see as a big deal.

You think the campus police acted as fascists in that imbroglio? If so, you've lived a sheltered life.

Did you think that Ike Skelton (running the Petraeus hearing )who ordered the Code Pink demonstrators removed for disrupting the proceedings a fascist? If they failed to comply, do ya think they wouldn't have been nudged by security? If they actively resisted and escalated the situation like Meyer, do ya think Security would have just thrown up their hands and said "shucks."

Time to get real and give up the silly labels.

I think you are being soft on the fascists running universities today.

You took the words right out of my mouth. How could the school administration ever allow a Vietnam "hero" to speak at their institution of "higher learning"?
