I don't have to suppose, televangelists are making buko bucks doing that. "Remember waco...the leader there claimed he was in contact with God...how about Jim Jones?" Good examples. "Amazing in todays world that 1 billion or more humans believe what was preached 1400 years ago...I understand that if one is born into a religion they really have no choice but to believe what they have been taught...but todays modern people who convert or become muslim must have very weak or very confused desperate minds... like I say...Amazing." I doubt the billion or so 'believe' much differently than a billion or so found in other walks of life. You are mistaken, everyone has a choice in what to believe. There is lots of indoctrination and coercion to go along with the particular dogma you are born into but beliefs are more transcendent than that. You are of course free to have whatever opinion you choose about people you've never met, and know little or nothing about.
