There's absolutely nothing any of us can do to prevent hillary becoming the nominee, that's sheer fantasy. Re caring about this country, it appears to be to be populated in large part by morons ... why should I care about them? I'll be fine no matter who gets elected. Don't be so sure. There is a long hard road ahead for all of the candidates. Stuff happens and their fortunes change. In the mean time, I just sent $50 to Obama. I will vote to Hillary if she gets the nomination. But I will fight her in any way I can up to the nomination. BTW, I live in NY and I mail her all the time to take a stand on one thing or another. She is the ultimate fence sitter on everything that matters. She has had many opportunities to speak out on so many clearly despicable antics of this administration. In doing so she would define herself as a candidate and raise my opinion of her. She always lets me down. I think she is very comfortable with the country's perception of her right now. She will not take a stand for civil rights, stopping the war, or anything controversial unless it will improve her popularity. Some people think she will change her stripes when she is president, but I would not count on it. If she was a woman with integrity, she would not have waited her entire term as senator to show what she cares about. She has a national forum and has ever since she was elected senator. At any time she could have spent some of her political capitol to fight these clowns. She has been doing NOTHING but biding her time as our senator, waiting for this presidential run. We should not entrust her to heal this country. You ask why you should care? For your children. And theirs.
