Look at the current crop of Repubs...they've already proven themselves to be fiscal conservatives. Giuliani in NYC, Romney in Mass...not sure of Thompson's economic record. We were all happy with the 90s...tech stocks spiking 3-4 points every day, splits galore; however, now we know that tech bubble would come to an abrupt halt. Well, the after effects of 9/11/2001 has formed the national security bubble, where we must be willing to shoulder the financial burden of eliminating the insane Muslim jihadists, so Americans can once again live in relative peace and prosperity. That brings up the most important point--Democrats are national security challenged. If Bill Clinton had taken OBL into custody when offered to do so by Sudan in the 1990s, 9/11 would never have occurred.
