A LOT of people say they won't run for Vice President, but when it comes down to it they look the entire situation over and consider how it might affect their future aspirations.

If Warner thought it would set him up as the most viable candidate in 2012 or 2016 then I wouldn't count him out.

He IS a very sharp guy and I wish he would have run THIS time around.

If Warner does not run for the Senate and for VP that leaves the Virginia John Warner seat open for Republicans as the Democrats have no one other than Warner to run for the Senate seat.

Congressman Jim Moran of Alexandria has been mentioned as possible VP or running for Warner's Senate seat.

Moran is too liberal for the rest of Virginia, hence don't see him as a winning candidate for Senate.

If I were betting on any Democrat team as a winning team, it would be Obama and Warner---------again the same dilemna with the Senate seat for Warner and also for the Democrats on the Senate seat.

Just brainstorming.
