I am certain that if this was not a pre-election year there would have been no hike at all and stronger language on inflation.

Basically, they are just feeding the American greed in a want it now society, hence the cut.They think a st bs cut will help, they are misguided. Yes they are trying to hyperinflate, that is the goal hence a move in stocks, but there is another cycle down leading to recession that should happen first.

Yes, rate hikes will happen taking away these bs "contrived" cuts.

Makes you wonder what economic history they have studied.
