Yes, possibly too fast too soon and has potential to pull back; however, it has been well cushioned on the downside. Its also possible we are breaking out after a long consolidation. Even if we are done cutting rates after another few hikes this may do well considering we are getting weaker in currency. If the attempt to rescue economy from recession (as advertised) indeed works then people could sell gold at the first rate hike (that may be a good heuristic); they will likely be sitting on good profit by then even buying at today's price.

Gold stocks certainly overbought short-term .

But I for one will be buying the dips since I think we are going MUCH higher unless global CBs tighten policy dramatically.
