that rubin china peg was in 1994, 14 years ago. Circumstances changed and those changes are post 2000. We didn't have a problem with the Yuan in the 90s, mostly because the dollar was rising so sharply against everybody else. This should have been renegotiated by the Bush team early on. They don't seem to be capable of moving on any economic issues. The bush team is a group of really dumb economists.
