I agree with you....and that is why there is such a grass roots rallying around Ron Paul. Much of his populist libertarian spin on things is good old fashioned conservative principles. Smaller government, fiscal integrity, privacy rights, scepticism about government solutions, care about foreign entanglements that do not DIRECTLY affect our interests, Only after the Republicans go through next year's butt-kicking (which it sure looks to me like they are heading for out of sheer stubborness if nothing else) will the party get rid of the big-government neocon element and return to some common sense principles. I hope.
