There is just no will to do a solar "Manhattan Project" and get it done.

Better to throw 1/2 trillion down an Iraqi rathole.

And don't give those kids health insurance.

Carter did. Actually, Nixon even tried first.
Is there any state rebate program for installing alt en? California has one; I think it is down to $2.60/W, but it was $5 when the program started; a while back, maybe 6 or even 10 years ago.
