The dollar is black and white -- and the trend is incredibly well established. We run combined deficits of 1 trillion dollars per year that require foreign inflows just to stay even -- it is an incredible weakness and there really is no way to avoid the result -- a lower dollar. Lowering the fed funds rate merely puts a boot on the neck of the dollar. It was already lying on the ground sucking dirt.
