OK...I accept that is the way it is, and that it is normal human behavior. What I don't accept is that there is no way to overcome racism. I've tried to avoid stereotyping people because of the color of their skin as long as I realized there was a difference, and I've been very successful. It isn't hard to treat everyone equally.

However, I do admit I wouldn't want to be the only white person in an all black neighborhood.

edit: it is the authorites.......leaders and such that have a lot of control over how people are dealt with. If they would stand up and denouce racism in their own cities that would help. But I see that is asking too much. The principal was duty bound to warn that student. He should have done a lot more to diffuse the situation. He is either a coward, a racist or bidding his time for his retirement to kick in.
