The active chemical in pot, THC, has been available in every state for your doctor to proscribe for the last ten years. It has the same restrictions as Tylinol with Codine. Your doctor can proscribe it for a skin rash if he wishes to. The DEA helped push to change the laws for this drug. It is now legal in all fifty states. The FDA, DEA and the FBI all agree that THC has medical benefit. To be legal, the THC has to be disolved in a food based oil and contained in a soft gel capsule. Here is a list of just some of the conditions that are being treated with pot out west: icmag.com It's a very long list. Listed in alphabetical order. There are many conditions where there is nothing that exists that is better to treat the condition with. Many evil people feel that people SHOULD suffer even when there is something that will help people end their suffering. Some evil people think a person should go blind instead of being allowed to prevent it by smoking pot. BTW most blindness protection that comes from pot comes from an ingredient that called CBD. CBD does not get you high. While THC is being proscribed, CBD is only available, here in the US, in the illegal drug marijuana.
