no idea.. he got appointment with dr outside his plan approved. $2000. for visit, i assume a lot of testing. however this doctor opens up all the doors. expedites the programs to get him immediate help and continued evaluations. Said now he will also get aid from state for anything insurance doesn't cover. All kinds of exercise programs. eating programs, sensitivity , cannot feel pain, speech, was not talking now with instructions saying a few words.. dr wished his doctor caught this sooner but still well ahead of half his kids brought into him. he said a lot do not get caught until pre school age by teachers. dr. said he is early not fully developed so do not know extent it could get worse as he develops. his eye contact is there if he is interested otherwise no eye contract , no social skills, but he loves to play with his cousins.. so the parents were on it about four or five months ago.. but even with paid insurance it takes time to get through the system. I remember my daughter getting her son evaluated from hard birth etc. dr says after she gets right dr... you should have been here a year ago! again her doctors telling her he is ok nothing to worry about.I kept pushing her to not listen to everyone saying he is ok. find the top dr and get opinions you need to react fast while very young to build sensory etc. she got him around age 2 wearing the helmet, and training for a year to develop his left side hurt in birth ,,imo,,, dr records showed no difficulties but his monitor during birth was unplugged and they noticed it just before everything was about to break loose and lose him. funny nothing about that stuff in hospital records.. it's like someone cleaned them all up. can you imagine going through these difficulities under social medicine? i just find it hard to believe you will get proper medical treatment if you can get it. i still remember taking my son in for his shots decades ago. these group of doctors were supposed to be tops.. so i am sitting in office and my son playing with a toy. Doctor comes in with vaccine or something. sits down and calls my son by my other son's name as he opens the file. I said wait a minute you got the files mixed up.. he was to give my son a shot he got two weeks ago over again. I was upset, no validation they even have the kid against the records they pulled. they are just too busy , pulling in big bucks , seeing so many patients , no time to even remember who's who. determatogist i had , he couldn't remember a thing other than the a note or two he would write in my folder. he would repeat same stupid stories,, ask same questions, try to find out more about what he did last time. these are doctors from top schools. scary. today as i wait for update for my wife's blood work taken last tues @ 10am. still do not have lab results. i called this morning looking for update in case i need to adjust blood thiner med. No record of getting report yet. 11:30 nurse calls i think calling me back with info.. nope she was calling to get information from me so she could update her files as it showed nothing. huh? I am in process of trying to get my own INR testing machine vs put up with quest lab taking it at our home . then they are to fax to dr office after testing.. then dr office to call me with results. meanwhile her numbers have been going all over the place and i have no idea if she is high or low. finally got dr to sign off on machine, next fight will be with insurance company. once i get it i will know within 2 minutes her count and if medication adjustments are required. we need more equipment like that vs waiting for labs to process and delays through two or more parties.. my rant today.g
