You are in rare delusional mode today, big boy. Arabs at their hallucinatory best. The Russians with all their might could not do it, the Brits with all their might could not do it, and everyone thought, oh no!, another quagmire, the US surely can't do it, but we kicked ass in Afghanistan in, oh, about a couple of weeks while still stopping for beer and pizza on weekends and using tens of thousands of troops less than the big bad Soviets did. A few irregulars, some lasers, a couple of horses, some smart bombs, a couple of 35 year old B 52, lots of cash and, poof!, Taliban take their mens' skirts up the hill, scampering like goats. Big bad Saddam and his Republican this and his Jihadi that and his mother of this and the mother of that lasted only a few weeks longer. Twice. The damfool never learned anything, did he? Do you really doubt that if push came to shove, the Persians and the entire Arabs would last more than a week or two in a battle with us? The only reason why we are still there is that we have rules that prevent us from being as effective as we can be. Let the boyz loose, and the only thing left would be goats and cockroaches. We'd start beer and pizza joints, hamburger stands, movies, Dairy Queens for the kiddies, make your women free, etc., and you guys would finally calm down.
