re: You, Shorty, Harris et al are all doing what they want. Brainless, mindless fear. It's almost funny. They shake in their boots at "terrorists", but go berserk when anyone mentions global warming as a threat. They are ready to give up all the freedoms in the constitution to deflect a few Islamists but are unwilling to give up their SUV's when it's clear that we are at or past peak oil. Which has the very real potential to destroy our economy and prosperity. They support spending $1Trillion to send our troops into harms way in a country that had the fewest terrorists in the ME, yet they have no problem paying $80 a barrel to countries that actually do support terrorism. It's really time we got someone in the White House that not only has some sense but can communicate with these folks. If that's possible.
