Sounds to me like you were the one holding the doors open at Logan Airport for a nice bunch of clean-cut kids 6 years ago this month.

Next time you get stopped by a cop for a traffic ticket, may I suggest you hold up a short black-cylinder tube and wave it to the cop as he approaches your car.

re: You, Shorty, Harris et al are all doing what they want. Brainless, mindless fear.

It's almost funny. They shake in their boots at "terrorists", but go berserk when anyone mentions global warming as a threat.

They are ready to give up all the freedoms in the constitution to deflect a few Islamists but are unwilling to give up their SUV's when it's clear that we are at or past peak oil. Which has the very real potential to destroy our economy and prosperity.

They support spending $1Trillion to send our troops into harms way in a country that had the fewest terrorists in the ME, yet they have no problem paying $80 a barrel to countries that actually do support terrorism.

It's really time we got someone in the White House that not only has some sense but can communicate with these folks. If that's possible.

That is an interesting post. I was doing a general search on SI for something else and this popped up.

Sometimes terrorism does not induce fear. It may create hatred, anger, and a strong desire for vengeance. That is what I feel. Violence usually results in more violence. If you can convince the people that want to kill Americans to stop, I will lose the desire to kill them.
