While secular market trends are important historically, Bob Brinker has never based ANY tactical asset adjustments on anything other than cyclical market expectations.

His subscribers are fully aware of this.

Do you have any opinion about why he would do this to his listeners?

In your opinion, what difference does it make?

<<According to quite an extensive study done by a woman at another site, Bob Brinker does not agree with you that "secular calls are not important.">>

--Right, Sue. I know the woman you mean, and I like to think we are friends. However, the FACT is, she is one of those people I mentioned in my last post who will always do her best to make Brinker look as bad as possible.

It is true that Bob believed we were in a secular bear, and wrote about it on a number of occasions. However, the reason it is not important is because his belief has never affected his bullish market calls.

IOW, anyone who has followed him in lock-step since he started talking about a secular bear has made out like a bandit.

<<And she also makes the point that Brinker has not mentioned this change of market views on his radio program -- that his listeners are still in the dark.>>

--Right. As I said, this woman, bless her soul, will do whatever she can to denigrate Brinker. She sincerely believes she is helping people by doing so.

<<Do you have any opinion about why he would do this to his listeners?>>

--Yes I do. I predicted long ago on this very board that he would never talk about it on the radio. You can find it in the archives near the beginning of the board, if you really want to know. It might be under my earlier incarnation "dijaexyahoo."

But, personally, I would not put it the way you did. IMO he is not "doing" anything harmful to his listeners.
