I have gradually concluded that Edwards is not much of anything. I don't think he thinks; he pronounces phrases that give the appearance of thinking, phrases that he and his advisors hope will win him votes.

The notion of courts setting market value for houses is profoundly anticapitalistic; it's not just socialist, it's communist. And Edwards does not seem bright enough to recognize this.

The very effort to do this would generate such a flood of litigation that . . .
