--I have never promoted dishonesty. As you know, I have been as critical as anyone about his shady moves and have never tried to deny he has many faults.

As I have said many times, I have benefitted a LOT from his advice over the years and would probably not be retired today if I had never found him on the radio.

Therefore, I try to defend him against unfair exaggerations, spin and other forms of anti-brinker propaganda, and to show people the "other" side of the debate.
