Why don't you tell us what are afraid of?

"If Ahmedinijad wants to celebrate the expression of free ideas, I suggest he start with Tehran University,"

=============

"We don't burn books or limit speech, so the wellspring of ideas may continue to be refreshed, lest we slip into a solipsistic apathy and fail to progress in our story."

So our freedom of expression in America is dependant upon other regions going first? Since when?

It is our wellspring I was referring to, not Iran's.

If we waited for others to initiate the expression of free ideas, it would never take place. If we waited for Columbia to satisfy all the lists we have of invitations before we granted them the priviledge to invite whom ever they chose, it wouldn't be a free choice nor would it be a practical venue under which to practice freedoms.
