Well then............the dems could say that there are 57 million uninsured in this country when touting their plan. How convenient! 10 million illegals will get full medical coverage.

John, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but this is currently the case in many communities across this nation. Admittedly, it is a two-edged sword, in that while we do not like to pay taxes for these services, it is imperative that we prevent the spread of communicable diseases, and many to most of these tax-supported, community-based clinics do just that. Of course, one can go back to the belief that these people should not be here at all, that maybe we ought to resurrect Ellis Island. However, they are here--and not just from south of the border--and it is to our general great benefit that they be screened and treated for communicable disease. - Holly
