Its interesting that in a topic that you favor, u have no problem going back to 1930s and Holocaust, but when it come to something you dont favor like Musharaff & Taleban - u wash it away by saying "hey that was before 9/11/2001, he's an ally". It's perfectly consistent. I am more interested in current behavior than past behavior. Ahmedinijad is waging proxy war against the US NOW. Ahmedinijad is spreading Nazi propaganda NOW. Musharref is not. He may be an unsavory ally, but he's better than the alternatives. Furthermore, it's clear that he's been under pressure - both internal and external - to clean up his act. It's surely not coincidental that he's going to hold elections now.
