Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told reporters Saturday. "The time for determined, collective action has come." He made the comments following high-level talks with foreign officials including U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the topic. The increased presence would not only support national reconciliation in Iraq, but also promote diplomatic relations between the country and its neighbors, Ban said. I was really suspicious about this so looked it up. Unfortunately the only line in this piece that can be attributed to Leno is the last sentence....and I don't even know if that is the truth. Snopes says Craig R. Smith was the original author. Regardless, it is so true that many Americans are just plain spoiled and self centered. Ted Kennedy comes to mind. snopes.com worldnetdaily.com
