Agree with you on the Mail In ballot.....Those ballots all should be signed by a Notary and have the person present his/her ID at the same time to the Notary. Then the ballots might have some chance of really being legal.

JDN Your experience in Florida is the same in Virginia. There is every safegaurd in place to prevent people voting who are not registered or attempting fraud. The other safegaurds are the Official Party Precinct Chairman and Official Party Poll watchers -----they sit and observe the voting from the first to the last vote including the counting of the vote-----and have a list of voters provided by the Party that duplicates the Registrar's list. Note the parties do not get these lists gratis-----they are bought by the Parties. The official poll watchers may file a written challenge to any voter's vote on the spot to the local Head Precinct Election Judge------citing the reason(s) for the challenge. Challenges are communicated to the County Registrar's Office. Sometimes a determination can be made immediately. If a decision is not made immediately, the challenge is forwarded as part of the final record at the end of the day to the County Registrar's Office for a final decision on whether or not to include the voter 's vote. mj
