Keith -

I think there must be some misunderstanding. Of course the iPod Classic supports OS X. It does require OS X 10.4.8 or later, though. Do you mean that it doesn't support the older version of OS X on your wife's iBook?

If that's what you meant, I should point out that a copy of the latest version of OS X will only cost you $129.00. A bargain compared to Vista.
