We were in chinatown recently at our favorite chinese grocery store on Canal St.(Kam Man Market) and noted that the whole roast duck we love went from $13.50 to $16.00 and the roast pork went from $6.00 lb to $7.50. Even Kimchee went up 20%! That level of price jump on staple items is amazing in that neighborhood.
