Overall, I thought "Venus" was pretty good, but not of the same level as that other British one I mentioned, "Girl in the Cafe". I wouldn't be surprised if Peter O'toole won an Oscar though. Don't tell anyone, but my favorite of his is actually, "Creator", a poorly reviewed 80's comedy with one of the Hemingway girls.

As I mentioned, I was blocked from getting Direct TV by some tall trees. It seemed like a half hearted effort by the one tech though and I wonder if it could have worked it out if they were willing to explore the roof a little more. Since letting Comcast back in, I've had constant trouble with the box. Whenever I tune in for the first time of the day, I either get no picture at all or a green screen, or a picture without sound. I have to fool around for five-ten minutes unplugging the box, plugging back in, tightening the HDMI connection, TV on and off, etc. until it's working again. Then it's fine for the night and I'm too lazy to call them <g>.
