CJ, > I'd expect Rudy to continue the present path. He is running on a platform to out-Bush Bush. When it isn't about 9/11...

So Rudy is all for higher spending, more deficits, and more congressional pork?

I don't know what his fiscal record is, but he is obviously running on his record cleaning up NYC. Friend of the NYPD, even before it was cool to be that way.

As for Hillary, it's very hard for me to imagine her being fiscally responsible if she and the Democrats win both the White House and Congress in 2008. We're likely to have a repeat of 1992-94, except this time she might actually succeed in passing Hillarycare among other liberal entitlement programs. A recession around that time would be a perfect political opportunity for her.
