That's an interesting concept Pete. Do you think it is also true then that when Brinker says something on the radio that he believes it to be true and when he expressed opinions or described his moves on this site under his alias of Don Lane that he believed such opinions and forecasts?

Pete, of course I can't read Brinker's mind or tell you exactly what he believes or does not believe. But I can tell you a lot of what he has said and done over the years.

When one makes market-timing claims for years, then all of a sudden says they are not "relevant," that is getting real close to "lying" IMO. Why do you think he has never told the radio audience that he declared the secular bear megatrend over and "irrelevant?"

.
However Pete... you did make an important point, which is that Brinker's "forecasts" are often false rather than true.

I think that history shows that he has been right about 50% of the time since 1987.
