I was thinking the strike at GM would have led to a larger downturn, as some poots I picked up in the RUT & SPX are up a measly 21% this minute...

The ppt/fed/working group must be working thru lunch...

Mish, I believe GM dealers had a 67 day supply of vehicles a couple weeks ago. Driving by some dealers this weekend, I'd estimate it's a bit north of that now.

GM is not hurt too much by this situation, and they could sweat out the workers, many of whom are in situations that can ill-afford a long walkout.

I had to explain to my kids this morning what a strike was. They'd never heard of the term. Interesting times we live in.
