If you read Mein Kampf, you see hitlers plan. If you read this, you may disaggree with a lot of what he says without believing he is hitler. Either he and/or the ayotollahs are faking moderation a la david duke for their own benefits or they are not as evil as some think. The fact that the iranian govt is a failure and that they have done many repressive things internally does not make them worse than lets say saudi arabia. We need to talk to these folks, if only to confirm our worst fears. We need to talk to these folks to separate them from wahabis and salafists who have poisoned sunni islam. We need to talk to these folks if only to prevent a war that would be another disaster.
Thats my take on first read. I wonder what you are thinking.

I propose this amendment to the constitution.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear nuclear arms and weapons of mass destruction shall not be infringed."

Any other country attempting to do so can and must be immediately annihilated because we're special.

Rough Cut

Thanks for passing along the speech by Admadinejad. I find it more than a little sad that he is the one in this current fracas who occupies the moral high ground. Nothing he said was untrue or incorrect.

That we demonize him, while at the same time we give unstinting support to one of the most evil regimes currently now existing on the planet, is a measure of our own decadence, and a measure of how far we have fallen below true morality and true self-interest.

The Neocons of course are going crazy with Admadinejad.

((((Understand by the term “Neocon” a set of people including Zionist Jews, plus a vast number of ordinary “Good Jews” who support murder and ethnic cleansing with money, silence and inaction, plus also a considerable number of non-Jew Big Contract, Pentagon-centric, rip off artists who use and let themselves be used by the Neocons --- in short, understand that the term “neocon” refers to an ugly combination of greed, brutality and tribalism).

The last thing that this ugly combination wants is for us to see the humanity of Iranians and Arabs. In the instant that we do so, we see through the neocons, and their project collapses. Matters do not stop there, however. The minute their project collapses, a counter-reaction will burst upon the scene that will be vast. If I were a Jew with a little money, I would change my name to Alarcon (a good sephardic Jewish name) and buy farmland in the province of Cordova, Argentina (i.e., on the pampas, some of the richest, most productive farmland on the planet).

The fall of the neocons will show us what anti-Semitism is all about, but of course, by that time, the term will no longer have protective powers, and its use will be deemed to be politically incorrect (that’s what is meant by “collapse.”) Thus will the Jews not escape history and morality, and thus will they end up being hoist on their own petard.
