OK, I think they use denial to bolster their moral position on palestine. I agree. But when you reach a certain level i think you know the truth even if you are ahmadijad. Meanwhile comparisons between the iranians and hitler are dubious to say the least. They are shiaa militias, certainly have engaged in terrorism against the west in the past and are allies of hizbolla and syria. So what. Much of the same could be said of the soviet leaders in the 70s nad 80s. Our presidents dealt with the soviets while they were supplying the vietnamese and nixon went to china in 72 while vietnam was still in progress. Personally i think it went badly today at columbia for Ahmadijad. The left wing students have some things to ponder especially those who are women or gay. I love freedom of speech and it usually works ok. Bollingers unexpected assault on him caught him off guard and by end of day the american left has to live with the fact that they pander to primitives like ahmadijad. I say keep our eyes on the real enemy==they guys who kill out of blood lust and joy--al quaeda, salafists, wahabis, saudis. Iran can be checked like we checked soviets and chinese. They might not be sweetness or light but they are not suicidal. If we can deal with North Korea, we can deal with iran.
