I can identify with the sentiment, since Petraeus IS just an administration credibility whore, but I thought the ad was unhelpful. It will alienate more that it draws. Maybe not. You've got to remember that it was just a few days the GOP blocked the military from getting longer leave between tours. That simple act is why I think ultimately we will see the death march of the GOP. They have committed too many destructive acts against the American people.
