I can identify with the sentiment, since Petraeus IS just an administration credibility whore, but I thought the ad was unhelpful. It will alienate more that it draws.

Maybe not. You've got to remember that it was just a few days the GOP blocked the military from getting longer leave between tours. That simple act is why I think ultimately we will see the death march of the GOP. They have committed too many destructive acts against the American people. And not one damn rightie on this thread opposed their GOP leaders:
