Hi Mike,
Burns also allowed the various directors of each segment of the Jazz series complete artistic license in subject matter they went after. Of course, had you been in the mix, I'm sure Jelly Roll Morton would have been prominently featured, along with the Storyville tip pick up maneuver by the girls...ggg.

Oh, and they might have mentioned that the FIRST JASS recording
was the product of an all white group, "The Original Dixieland Jass Band, on Victor, cost .75 cents, 1917( I have a copy)
