The key here was the triggerpuller ratio. When you figure out how "flat" they are, they're a bargain.

There is nothing flat about Blackwater.
The ratio is not what was reported in that article.. All is not in clear view. The author reported what he saw - nothing more.

Like the Army, the Blackwater operators have a huge organization behind them.

Blackwater owns two aviation companies (think USAF and Army aviation combined) and another security company.
All of that is owned by Prince Group that also owns Prince manufacturing and other subsidiaries. It is named after SEAL Erik Prince.

The only reason these contractor companies exist is recruiting command has not been able to fill the need.
