The principle of free speech was upheld.....(not for the reasons cited by the hypocritical University Admin.) His views were exposed and put on record....some of them are so absurd as to be laughable....and that certainly does not put him in a flattering light.....I think he undermined himself further. I think it makes his claim that they are not pursuing weaponized nukes less credible.

On the other hand, his appearance will be played in the Arabl press in a much more favorable light....Iranian press for instance omitted the part about Bollinger's remarks and some may be fooled by his rhetoric. Unfortunately, it probably does add some layer of respectability to the man....

Overall, I would say it was a good thing....and a great thing about America.
