If SS is financially sound, why did Regan fix it permanently, Clinton try twice and fail, "W" try once and fail, and then recommend that it be fixed?? Why is Obama campaigning to fix it.

Greenspan has been warning forever that it will go bust.

Medicare!?!?!

Its all one big pot of money. It is meaningless to claim that SS is sound and that Medicare is on the brink.

At the end of the day, he who has the most votes (owns the most Congress members) will get the biggest piece of the pie.
