OTOH...if Columbia was really a bastion of free expression....Botha would have been allowed to speak as well...it would have given Columbia's assertion of First Amendment freedoms as the basis for the decision more cred.

If we really believe in the First Amendment, I think it does no harm to let him speak....and his views as I said are laughable.....sunlight is usually a good disinfectant...

Free speech also means hearing stuff you dont like.

If you would read a transcript, he does NOT deny that the Holocaust existed. He said he accepts it. I think he is talking about research into the magnitude.

By the way, within the past couple of days a member of Israeli govt said that Israel should "wipe Syria from the map".
