The dilemma of owning gold mine stocks is that gold mines are also suffering from high inflation, energy, labor, insurance, even water cost. That is maybe why Marc Faber encourage people to own physical gold and real estate in rural area<g>

But then what if most of the rural areas all goes to investors’ hands sitting? Where will the grain be planted? Yes, it is ok with the US, since they have many unused arable land. But it is definitely NOT ok with China. Luckily China has very strict regulation about the agricultural land use. The whole world should thank for that<g>
