No question on following breakouts. The market is always right.

That deflation story/viewpoint seems like the bet is more on fear than deflation from here.

I'm not much into the dollar correlation story, the data just plain doesn't support it over short or even intermediate term periods due to competitive devaluation and similar issues.

I do foresee a relative drop starting mid Dec to early Jan and continuing through mid March or so... and will also not fight the trends.

As an aside, I did lighten up quite a bit in the last 18 hours on my gold futures longs.
