Yes we all do.. Or we ALL SHOULD.. For he was our LAST GREAT NEWSMAN.. And he was a WASHINGTON STATE COUG.. Our BEST alum.. We honor him with our symposium.. wsuevents.wsu.edu But moving on, Walter Cronkite lied to US throughout the Vietnam war.. With his hypocritical grandfatherly demeanor.. He just read the goddamn teleprompter put up by him and the other sold out executives of CBS.. And Dan Rather played it SAFE until his retirement.. Never stood up for a damn thing until NOW when it was safe.. Just like his father Walter.. And so LIKE many of our country.. And on SI.. An since then... Unforgiveable in my mind.. Anyway Mephisto, That is one of the main reasons we (America) are in the trouble we are.. We are basically ignorant.. For US, the most of US I mean, are so UNINFORMED, they don't know what is going on.. And tose are too LAZY OF MIND to find out what is really going on.. But they don't GIVE A DAMN, And they don't give a DAMN because they have a mundane life filled with THEIR OWN SELFISHNESS of so-called comfort, of a soft couch to watch TV.. They don't even know what it is LIKE to LIVE.. The "roller coaster of life", the UPS and DOWNS that makes life memorable..
