Under the broad outlines of her new universal health care proposal, Sen. Hillary Clinton today reassured Americans that her plan calls for “no new bureaucracy,” just new bureaucrats.

“Read my lips: No new bureaucracy,” said Sen. Clinton to a cheering crowd of uninsured part-time Wal-Mart employees at a union organizing rally for undocumented immigrants, “We’ve got Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, the Veterans Administration…the last thing Americans want is another faceless health care bureaucracy. All we really need to implement my new mandatory choices plan is a huge influx of new employees into our existing bureaucracies.”

In a briefing after the speech, an unnamed Clinton aide said the Democrat presidential hopeful realizes that “people hate remote, monolithic, impersonal agencies. However, most Americans like people, and won’t oppose creating new jobs for thousands upon thousands of otherwise unemployable folks.”

“The beauty of her plan,” the source said,”is that we can cover most of the 47 million uninsured by giving them good, high-paying jobs overseeing the government-mandated health choices program.”

FL newspapers, after numerous recounts, declared GW Bush the winner. What excuse are you concocting for Hillary's 2008 loss? You've had plenty of practice at losing, so try to do it with dignity this time.

I may shock conservatives with this, but I think Gore would likely have gone to war with Iraq. He supported removing Saddam until after Bush went to war, as did the Clinton's. And the claims re. Saddam's WMD's all came from Clinton era intelligence people.

Who knows what Kerry would have done. Not even Kerry.

"Gore and Kerry both won their elections. Gore was obviously robbed in Florida. Kerry was both robbed n Ohio and smeared with 100% disgraceful treasonous lies which you helped spread."

Oh AS - what a prolonged lie you spin. Florida was counted in Florida - over and over. No one knows who the most people intended to vote for. By Algore's plan - he lost. Where the lie reaches the extreme - especially since you have been shown the truth - is that Cuyahoga County is controlled by Democrats. To believe he was robbed in Cuyaghoga County is to say the Dems did it. Yes dumb butt - I live here. I followed it. Proof of dem control is the sad sorry state of our economy. Yup - Cuyahoga County - the home of Dennis looney left Kucinch - run by DEMOCRATS!

Can you say the Dems did it to Kerry?
