this just in, from one unnamed moolah manager who be my hero based here in hk, of an e-mail sent him by another moolah manager in usa, and never mind his name, regarding moolah voting ...

Gentlemen,

You heard it here first. Several years ago Jim Baker and his law firm investigated the questionable accounting transpiring at Freddie Mac. In a nutshell, derivatives on top of derivatives resulting in massive restatements! At the time Mr. Buffett was a major shareholder of Freddie causing him to sell all shares and making the statement "Financial Weapons of Mass Destruction". Now fast forward the tape and look at what Buffet is up to lately:

1) Hosting a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton

2) Hosting a fundraiser for Barrack Obama

3) Increasing his stake in Wells Fargo and Bank of America (two of the largest players in the derivative business)

4) Potentially taking a stake in his bridge companions company, Bear Stearns (up to their eyeballs in structured finance toxic waste)

Net, net I smell a nasty surprise for the USA in 2008-care to guess? How about a democrat leading the largest US sector bailout ever! Buffet wins, the responsible US citizen flips the bill. Welcome to political capitalism to the nth degree.

Bill
