Some people use the name iTunes to refer to either the music library application and the online music store, or to both, which leads to confusion. I try to be careful to use phrases like "iTunes store" or "online music store" when talking about the store. If I just say iTunes, I'm talking about the music library application. Damn Apple for making life so hard for those of us who like to discuss these things endlessly. - Allen
