Well, "wide stance", I know you are a fan of big, totalitarian government, just so long as it follows the "right path". I doubt if you will ever realize how you and the evangelicals got played by the republicans. I know the democrats are corrupt. It's fools like you that can't even realize that the republican leadership and power brokers are just as bad. And why can't you see it? Because they lie to you about their love of "family values". Yeah, Mark Foley, David Vitter, Larry Craig...and all the rest of the sanctimonious lot. If something isn't done soon the Democrats will control everything...but you don't care about that, do you? You can just rant and rave against the powers that be while still pretending the republicans are the Christian's "friends".
