...and thats one this that @&#&^ me off about Apple - lots of great "inside" features and software that you find out by word of mouth or by severe poking about.

Thanks for the great info. Do you know where this is documented?

Those particular email shortcuts are listed under the File menu in Safari, it is not a system-wide one, and I believe it only works in Apple's Mail program. If you use another email program, try it and see. Safari pops up an error if it can't work with your default email app.

To find many more of these, just open the Help in whatever application you're using (the Finder has many) and search for: shortcuts
