reminds me of a story of a noted rabbi and miracle worker who visits a small town and sees a poor soul praying and praying at the service . The rabbi stays there and studies and the guy is still praying and praying. the rabbi comes over to him and says why do you spend so long praying? the guy says i dont read so well and dont know exactly what prayers to say on what day so i just read everything. the rabbi sits down with him helps show him what to say when by putting little pieces of paper in his prayer book. then the rabbi has to leave. shortly afterwards the guy leaves too but a gust of wind blows all the papers away. the guy starts running after the rabbi, in the meantime the rabbi gets to a deep river and sees that there is no bridge to cross it. undaunted he opens his handkerchief, puts it on the river and sits on it-starts floating on the water. suddenly he hears : rabbi ! help! and he sees the guy floating next to him also on a handkerchief. amazed the rabbi says what are you doing here and how are you doing this? the guy says- rabbi i need help all the papers flew out, i dont know what i m doing i just did what you did. the rabbi says- whatever you were doing before just keep on doing it.
