And they have no more desire to "martyr" themselves than you do. Show me a mullah who has strapped on a suicide belt. You can't. They appreciate the here and now way too much. "just target a few nuke sites and problem solved - for now." You expect them to just sit there if that were to happen? Our people in Iraq would be toast if that were to happen. "Fact is we're going either now or after they nuke israel." They aren't going to nuke Israel. For the same reason they won't nuke us. Israel has the power to make them regret it if they were to try. "you apparently want to wait until they arm some crazies with a bomb for us." I don't see the point in waiting for something that won't happen. The situation was a whole lot more unstable during the Cold War. The Soviets actually had a shot with a sneak attack, especially before we had our submarine force sufficiently established. Iran doesn't have a prayer of crippling us beyond a response. Or Israel, for that matter. And they know it.

Fact is we're going either now or after they nuke israel, it's pretty much their choice when they want it if they want it - you apparently want to wait until they arm some crazies with a bomb for us. Considering that its commonly believed by most intel people that Israel has the sixth largest number of nukes[after the US, Russia, China, India and Pakistan] in the world, why would Iran attack Israel.....so it could get obliterated? Whatever scare tactics do you have in your repetoire to encourage a docile American public, o wise one?
